Oil Palm Produce Stimulation Fertilizer (Control Release Fertilizer)

We do not have to fertilize our oil palm trees daily anymore, thanks to the control release fertilizer which gradually releases the nutrients for our plants slowly every day. The period of time is also controllable. Introducing today is the oil palm produce stimulation control release fertilizer of four months.

Formula for palm sprouts: Kontrol 4m 28-8-8 with Hymag – B

(Mixing ratio: 4 portions of 28-8-8 per 1 portion of Hymag – B every four months)

            For palm trees aged 1-3 years, use 28-8-8 Kontrol 4m with Hymag – B, alternating with 12-8-24 Kontrol 4m every 4 months

For palm trees aged 4-7 years, use 12-8-32 Kontrol 4m (1-2 kg/tree) every four months and add Hymag – B (0.5-1 kg/tree/year)

For palm trees aged 8 years and above, use 14-10-30 Kontrol 4m (2 kg/tree) every four months and add Hymag – B (0.5-1 kg/tree/year)

Precautions for Kontrol 4m fertilization for maximum outcome:

1. Any application should be on the plant’s rootlets, which has higher absorbability. For oil palm, it is recommended that the application takes place at the center of the palm leaves.
2. If planted on a slope, earthing up the fertilizer or apply on the pile of old palm leaves to prevent displacement.
